• Develop, test, and maintain Excel VBA and SQL-based tools for front office trading desks in an investment banking environment.
• Collaborate directly with traders, understanding trade workflows and supporting their software needs.
• Analyze user requirements and design efficient applications to meet business needs and deadlines.
• Build and modify both frontend and backend web applications for front office users.
• Update and enhance Excel user interfaces and create/modify SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in VBA code and SQL stored procedures.
• Document developed applications and participate in the application testing process.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Apply knowledge of fixed income products, repo, and general finance concepts.
• Utilize strong object-oriented programming skills (Java/.NET/C++).
• Opportunity to upskill in front end technologies (React, Angular, Typescript, Javascript).
