Visual Analytics Developer

Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Tableau and Power BI dashboards that visually communicate performance trends, operational insights, and business outcomes. • Translate complex datasets into intuitive, visually compelling analytics that enable stakeholders to quickly understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities. • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define visualization requirements, including KPIs, metrics, and storytelling approaches. • Create business solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision‑making across operating organizations. • Collaborate with business our data analytics team and IT to ensure data sources, view tables, and models are accurate, performant, and aligned with business definitions. • Gather, document, and validate detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and System Requirement Specifications (SRS). • Develop and maintain system interfaces and business process specifications related to analytics and reporting solutions. • Ensure dashboards follow best practices in visual design, usability, and accessibility, including consistency, clarity, and effective use of color, layout, and interaction. Qualifications • 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in visual analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization roles. Required Skills • Strong expertise in visual analytics and data storytelling, with the ability to present insights in a clear, concise, and business‑focused manner. • Strong visual design sensibility and familiarity with data visualization best practices (e.g., chart selection, layout, hierarchy, and storytelling). • Proven ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and create user stories that translate business needs into analytics solutions. • Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar sprint and backlog management tools. • Advanced expertise in Tableau Desktop, including: • Dashboard and worksheet creation • Calculated fields, parameters, and action filters • Data source management and troubleshooting • Performance optimization • Advanced expertise in Power BI, including: • Interactive dashboard and report development • Data modeling and DAX (as applicable) • Report troubleshooting and optimization Contract 3 years Hybrid Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
