Vulnerability Management Data Analyst
Onsite data‑focused security role supporting a Vulnerability Management and PCI Compliance team. The role is centered on analyzing vulnerability data, identifying trends and anomalies, and clearly communicating insights to stakeholders in a structured, process‑driven environment.
Location: 100% onsite - Charlotte, NC (1 day remote per week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Eastern)
Duration: Long‑term contract (1+ year)
Responsibilities
• Analyze large datasets related to vulnerability management and PCI compliance
• Perform advanced Excel analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Identify trends, risk patterns, and anomalies within vulnerability data
• Create reports and summaries for stakeholders and leadership
• Explain what the data means and its business impact
• Support ongoing PCI compliance initiatives
• Accurately document findings and maintain reporting accuracy
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on remediation and process improvement
Candidate Requirements
• Experience in Vulnerability Management or security/compliance analysis
• Strong advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Ability to identify trends and outliers in data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable presenting data insights in meetings
• Reliable, accountable, and detail‑oriented
• Willing to work primarily onsite
