Role: Cognos Reporting (Ab initio and Data Modeling) Location: Alpharetta, GA/Wilmington, DE (100% Onsite) Job Type: 12 Months Contract Job Description • Extensive experience in designing and developing reports using IBM Cognos Analytics. • Skilled in executing end-to-end report testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Proficient in IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x) for advanced reporting solutions, with additional expertise in Abinitio and data modelling. • Deep knowledge of IBM Cognos Framework Manager for creating and maintaining robust metadata models. • Strong command of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts. • Effective collaboration with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document reporting requirements. • Capable of translating business needs into clear, testable technical specifications for Cognos development. • Maintains comprehensive documentation detailing report logic, data sources, and design rationale. • Demonstrates agility in onboarding to new projects and managing deliverables with minimal supervision. • Experienced in performance tuning of Cognos reports and optimizing query efficiency. • Well-versed in implementing row-level security within Cognos reporting environments.
