Windchill PDMLink Developer Locations: St. Paul, MN | Maple Grove, MN | Columbus, OHType: ContractClient Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering Systems About the Role Rockwoods is seeking an experienced Windchill PDMLink Developer (v13) to support a strategic PLM initiative. This consultant will play a key technical role in analysis, solution design, configuration, development, and implementation of Windchill PDMLink solutions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, PLM delivery teams, and IT leadership to design scalable, high-quality solutions while ensuring system stability and performance. What You’ll Do Lead technical analysis and translate business requirements into functional and technical designs Configure and customize PTC Windchill PDMLink (v13) Design and develop server-side and UI enhancements Implement workflows, lifecycle management, and access controls (ACLs) Manage Windchill configurations including Types, Attributes, OIRs, and reporting Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions Perform data migrations from legacy systems Support system integrations (ERP, CAD, and other enterprise platforms) Collaborate with vendors for upgrades and technical support Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality and alignment with functional specifications Serve as a technical liaison between business users and IT teams What You Bring 10+ years of overall IT experience 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, installing, and configuring PTC Windchill PDMLink Strong development experience with Java and web technologies Deep understanding of: Workflow and Lifecycle Management Types, Attributes, ACLs, OIRs Windchill configuration and customization Experience with validated system implementations Experience performing Windchill data migrations Working knowledge of: Windows and Unix/Linux environments Oracle Database and SQL Experience with system integrations (ERP integrations preferred) SAP integration experience is a plus Understanding of CAD integrations is a plus Professional Skills Strong communication skills — able to bridge technical and business conversations Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams Experience driving requirements through full lifecycle delivery Comfortable working independently and within fast-paced teams Strong ownership mindset and accountability for technical deliverables Work Location: In person
