Role description
Manhattan WMS Technical Implementation Consultant
Location
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Nearshore preferred
Open to Onshore candidates who can work EST business hours
Introduction:
As a Manhattan WMS Technical Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and executing hands-on configuration of Manhattan WMS 2018 (on-prem) modules to meet client business requirements. You will work closely with clients to translate their business requirements into technical configurations and provide support throughout the full implementation cycle.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and execute hands-on configuration of Manhattan WMS 2018 (on-prem) modules to meet client business requirements
β’ Work directly within MIF (Manhattan Integration Framework) to design, build, and troubleshoot inbound/outbound integrations
β’ Configure and support SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) reporting and data flows
β’ Perform database-level analysis, queries, and troubleshooting (Oracle/SQL) to support configuration, data validation, and issue resolution
β’ Support end-to-end implementation activities: requirements validation, configuration, unit/system testing, defect triage, and go-live support
β’ Collaborate with functional/business analysts and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical configuration
β’ Conduct and support test cycles (SIT/UAT) including test case execution and defect resolution
β’ Document configuration decisions, technical specifications, and integration mappings
β’ Troubleshoot production and testing issues across WMS core functionality, integrations, and data layers
Requirements:
β’ Minimum 8 years of hands-on implementation experience with Manhattan WMS, on-premise 2018 version specifically (not Manhattan Active/MASC)
β’ Strong working knowledge of MIF (Manhattan Integration Framework)
β’ Experience with SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) module
β’ Solid database skills β ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries, understand WMS data model/schema
β’ Experience with WMS configuration across core functions (receiving, putaway, inventory management, wave/task management, shipping)
β’ Prior experience in full-cycle WMS implementations (design, build, test, deploy)
β’ Ability to work independently in a hands-on technical capacity β this is not a pure business analyst or oversight role
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience supporting migrations or upgrades from legacy WMS versions
β’ Familiarity with EDI/integration middleware in a supply chain context
β’ Prior experience in retail/distribution center environments
β’ Exposure to Manhattanβs broader suite (labor management, transportation) a plus
