Role description
Position: Workato Lead Developer (with AI Agent/MCP Experience) -- Remote
Location: USA (Remote)
Job Description:
• 5–9+ years of hands-on integration development experience, with at least 3+ years specifically on Workato.
• Strong understanding of API design (REST/SOAP), authentication patterns (OAuth2.0, API keys, JWT), and middleware concepts.
• Experience integrating with SaaS applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake, etc.
• Proficiency in JSON, XML, JavaScript (for Workato connector SDK scripting), and data transformation logic.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns (pub-sub, request/response, event-driven, error retry patterns, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and environment migration frameworks.
• Familiarity with webhook-based integrations, event streams, and real-time orchestration.
• Hands-on experience on Workato MCP & Genie creation.
