

Workflow Orchestration Expert
Title: Workflow Orchestration Expert(Control-M OR Helix Control-M)
Location: Chicago, Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months+
Job Description:
• The IT Systems Engineer will join a team of infrastructure and automation engineers to help maintain, support, and improve the client's scheduling/orchestration tool (Control-M).
• The client utilizes hybrid cloud architecture, so experience working across self-hosted AWS servers and SaaS applications is strongly preferred.
• The ideal candidate will be able to explain an orchestration workflow, identify benefits and pitfalls of the existing architecture, and make recommendations to improve efficiency when provided with documentation and access to the stack. Additionally, the candidate should have strong soft skills for interacting with business stakeholders and engaging in collaboration across IT teams.
Primary duties include:
• Familiarity with Batch workflows and job orchestration
• Ability to configure orchestration workflows using client documented best practices
• Conduct risk analysis and apply policy compliance to new workflow design
• Upgrade application versions and Virtual Agents
• Implement jobs as code using CI/CD pipelines
• Identify opportunities for Batch automation and workflow consolidation
• Troubleshoot issues using logs and error messages
• Manage independent work using agile practices and ceremonies
• Comfort embedding with delivery teams to help reconfigure their orchestration workflows/jobs to match client standards
