Please read on... 2026 IDS 2026 Summer Associate – Data Partnerships Year of Graduation: 2026/2027 - Grad Program We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Graduate School Summer Intern to join the IDS & Data Partnerships team. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to how enterprise‑level data partnerships are identified, evaluated, contracted, onboarded, and managed to deliver sustained business value across therapeutic areas, brands, and functions. Key Responsibilities: • Support the end to end data partnership lifecycle, including new data needs intake, partner assessment, evaluations, and onboarding coordination across legal, procurement, governance, and technology teams. • Help document and maintain data partnership artifacts, such as partner overviews, deal sheets, contracting workflows, and operating model documentation. • Support cross functional collaboration with Data Strategy to translate business use cases into appropriate data partnership solutions and ensure alignment on scope and priorities. • Contribute to partner management activities, including preparation for vendor check ins, QBRs, issue tracking, and follow ups to ensure contractual and performance commitments are met. • Assist with maintaining a central view of active data partners and datasets, helping improve transparency and reduce duplicative vendor outreach. • Support process improvement efforts related to data onboarding, contracting workflows, and ways of working across IDS, Data Strategy, and partner teams. Required Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Health Informatics, Public Health, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources • Interest in data partnerships, healthcare data ecosystems, vendor management, or data strategy • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing multiple workstreams or stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical data (e.g., claims, EMR, lab, specialty pharmacy, provider, or patient data) • Experience working with or studying vendor management, contracting processes, or operating models • Exposure to data governance, data quality, or compliance considerations • Comfort working in cross‑functional environments with Legal, Procurement, Technology, and Business teams • Experience creating structured documentation, process flows, or presentation materials Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid) Pay Rate: (W2 Only - based on Education and Experience) Masters $35.00/hour PharmD/PhD/MD/JD $40.00/hour MBA $43.00/hour Based On Experience And Qualifications (W2 Only) Contract: 2-month Health, dental, vision, 401k Why Novartis: Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
