Job Title: Data Engineer - Health Insurance Location:Detroit, United States Experience:Mid-level Remote Working:Hybrid Job Description: Dataspace is seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in Detroit. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools required to process and analyze large datasets. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability and quality, enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions. Location: Detroit, MI (2+ days/week onsite required) Mode: Contract to Hire Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data is accessible and reliable for analysis. Implement and optimize data storage solutions, such as data warehouses and data lakes, to support analytical and reporting needs. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and enforce data governance and security standards to ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations. Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of data. Mandatory Skills/Experience: 4 or more years’ experience in: Advanced SQL Python and Spark Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with healthcare data Experience in a Linux environment Compensation: $60-70 per hour on 1099 or C2C Other Notes: Our client requires that we work ONLY with direct, W2 employees of our contracting partners.
