4G/5G Support Engineer

Job Title: Data Logging Engineer Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)Duration: 4 MonthsOnly W2 no C2C Role Overview We are seeking a Data Logging Engineer to support 4G/5G network testing and troubleshooting. You’ll analyze system logs, resolve network performance issues, support software/patch upgrades, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive issue resolution. This role also involves customer support and contributing to automation efforts. Key Responsibilities Capture and analyze logs for 4G/5G network elements to identify root causes. Document troubleshooting steps and update technical documentation. Develop scripts (Python, Shell, Perl) for log analysis and automation. Perform network KPI analysis, audits, and software/patch upgrades. Provide customer support, including 24/7 assistance during outages. Work closely with engineering teams for issue resolution and feature testing. Qualifications Bachelors in Telecom/Network Engineering or related field. 2+ years in a wireless telecom environment. Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX, scripting (Python/Shell/Perl), and MS Office. Understanding of 4G/5G architecture, RAN protocols, and interfaces (S1-MME, S1-U). Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Willingness to work occasional night shifts for debugging with offshore teams.
