Ab-Initio Engineer

ONLY W2 CANDIDATES Role: Senior Ab Initio Engineer Location: Wilmington, DE (3 days onsite and 2 days remote) Duration: 24-month contract Type: ONLY W2 Responsibilities: • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and contribute to large-scale planning for Software Engineering • Review and analyze multi-faceted, large-scale, or long-term engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple variables, including unprecedented or intangible factors • Contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues, ensuring alignment with internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables and drive successful outcomes Required Qualifications: • 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education • Expertise with Ab Initio Co> Op System and GDE • Strong experience with Unix systems and scripting • Proficiency with Oracle • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or IBM MQ • Hands-on experience with Ab Initio components that interact with messaging systems like Kafka • Skilled in converting database objects to JSON • Experienced with large volumes of data in batch processing environments • Proficient in performance tuning for batch processes • Experienced in creating asynchronous micro-batches (nonlinear batch processing) • Familiarity with Autosys • Familiarity or experience with Mainframe systems • Expertise in Ab Initio batch processes
