Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex ETL solutions using Ab Initio.
Architect and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines to support large-scale data processing.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain reusable components, frameworks, and libraries to improve operational efficiency.
Optimize performance of ETL processes, ensuring minimal latency and maximum throughput.
Manage troubleshooting and resolution of critical issues related to data processing and ETL pipelines.
Establish data governance and data quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Oversee production deployments, monitor job performance, and implement recovery mechanisms for failures.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and senior developers to enhance team capability.
Required Skills:
9-12 years of experience in ETL development and data integration using Ab Initio.
Expertise in Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment), Conduct It, Control Center, and Enterprise Meta Environment (EME).
Strong experience with Multi-File System (MFS) and parallel processing in Ab Initio.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux scripting and SQL.
Solid understanding of data modeling (star and snowflake schemas) and data warehousing concepts.
Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization of large-scale data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with metadata management and data lineage.
Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Must have implemented data warehouse end-to-end using Ab Initio.
Certifications in Ab Initio or relevant technologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with real-time and batch processing.
Work experience with Ab Initio MFS is a strong plus.
Experience in implementing data security and compliance frameworks.
