Role description
Responsibilities:
• The Consultant L3, Access Management & Data Privacy Program is responsible for supporting the information security and privacy objectives, with a focus on access management and data privacy. Key responsibilities include:
• Adhering to customer access management processes, safeguarding credentials, and protecting them from unauthorized use.
• Ensuring compliance with customer Information Security requirements, including passphrase complexity, asset handling, and use of licensed software only.
• Supporting onboarding and offboarding controls, including background checks and verification for contractor employees.
• Monitoring and reporting information security incidents and violations of customer ITS directives, procedures, and standards.
• Determining and approving appropriate access rights for contractors to customer Information and Technology Services.
• Coordinating the process for granting access accounts, including for non- customer managed devices.
• Implementing and maintaining a formal Information Security program, including annual reviews, incident response plans, and vulnerability management.
• Ensuring that subcontractors meet equivalent or higher information security controls and performing security assessments of subcontractors.
• Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning, ensuring essential functions continue during and after a disaster.
• Overseeing compliance with privacy obligations, including minimizing personal data processed, monitoring vendor privacy practices, and responding to data incidents.
• Providing regular training to contractor and subcontractor employees on security procedures and techniques.
• Ensuring physical and logical access controls are in place, including badge management and secure storage of devices and documents.
• Communicating operational or security administration personnel changes promptly to relevant customer units.
• Including information security and privacy requirements in contracts and monitoring compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
• This role requires strong knowledge of information security best practices, data privacy regulations, and risk management in a global, multi-vendor environment. The Consultant L3 reports to the relevant Project Manager or Contract Manager and works closely with the Office of Information Security (OIS) and Data Privacy Offices 1 2 3.
