We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analytics Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in data analytics, visualization, and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Splunk (including IT Service Intelligence), SQL, and dashboard creation, along with strong skills in Power BI. In this long-term contract role, you will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize data-driven solutions that deliver actionable insights and operational excellence.
Must-Have Skills:

β’ ITSI background on Splunk
β’ Power BI
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Architect, design, configure, and optimize advanced Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports.
β’ Lead ITSI implementation and customization to deliver high-value monitoring and analytics.
β’ Develop, tune, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
β’ Create interactive, high-impact dashboards using Power BI and other visualization tools.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to data ingestion, integration, and visualization.
β’ Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, accuracy, and security.
β’ Mentor junior team members and guide best practices in Splunk and visualization tools.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on data analytics and visualization.
β’ Expert-level proficiency in Splunk, including hands-on experience with ITSI.
β’ Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to design and optimize complex queries.
β’ Strong experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization platforms.
β’ Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale monitoring and analytics solutions.
β’ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) for automation.
β’ Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
β’ Knowledge of big data technologies and data modeling best practices.
