Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern data engineering practices and hands-on experience in AEP components, including
Data Distiller, Web SDK, and XDM schemas. This role involves building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and enabling advanced analytics and activation use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
Develop and optimize complex queries using AEP Data Distiller for data analysis, transformation, and activation.
Define and manage XDM schemas, datasets, and identity graphs to support unified customer data.
Implement data ingestion (batch and streaming) from multiple enterprise sources into AEP.
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
Apply data governance and performance optimization best practices within AEP workflows.
Utilize Databricks for data processing and transformation to support advanced analytics.
Work with GraphQL for API-driven data querying and integration.
Integrate AEP with Snowflake and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments for analytics and reporting.
Document technical designs, workflows, and integration processes for internal stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, including 2+ years with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
Hands-on experience with AEP Data Distiller, Web SDK, and XDM data modeling.
Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write, optimize, and debug complex queries.
Experience with Databricks, GraphQL, Snowflake, and Enterprise Data Warehousing systems.
Familiarity with Adobe Real-Time CDP, Customer Journey Analytics, and Adobe Launch is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in data ingestion pipelines using APIs, streaming frameworks, or ETL tools.
Knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Exposure to customer data platforms (CDPs) and real-time personalization systems.
