Role description
Position Overview
FutureSoft Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Advanced Business Analyst to support a major healthcare information systems initiative. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive business analysis, documentation, testing, and training services in a regulated public-sector environment.
This position requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, as well as demonstrated experience working with complex healthcare systems and diverse stakeholder groups.
Primary Responsibilities
β’ Plan, schedule, and facilitate project and stakeholder meetings, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes
β’ Analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements
β’ Develop detailed process flow diagrams and workflow documentation
β’ Prepare functional, technical, and design documentation
β’ Develop, execute, and manage application test cases and testing cycles
β’ Create user manuals, training guides, and related documentation
β’ Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions
β’ Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
β’ Research and document system requirements and operational processes
β’ Ensure full compliance with data security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
β’ Maintain accurate project records and reporting documentation
Required QualificationsProfessional Experience
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst on software development projects
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application and system testing
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Office and Visio
β’ Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and stakeholder workshops
β’ Proven expertise in process mapping and business documentation
β’ Experience developing user guides and training materials
β’ Experience working with healthcare information systems
Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Additional Requirements
β’ Ability to successfully complete fingerprinting and background screening
β’ Ability to work on-site in Tallahassee, Florida
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Childrenβs Medical Services systems, including CMS 3.0
β’ Experience supporting government or public-sector clients
β’ Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory compliance standards
β’ Experience in highly regulated IT environments
Contract Details
β’ Contract Duration: Twelve (12) months, with potential for extension
β’ Work Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours
β’ Work Location: On-site in Tallahassee, Florida
β’ Travel Reimbursement: Not provided
