Advanced Business Analyst (Healthcare Systems)

Position Overview FutureSoft Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Advanced Business Analyst to support a major healthcare information systems initiative. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive business analysis, documentation, testing, and training services in a regulated public-sector environment. This position requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, as well as demonstrated experience working with complex healthcare systems and diverse stakeholder groups. Primary Responsibilities • Plan, schedule, and facilitate project and stakeholder meetings, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes • Analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements • Develop detailed process flow diagrams and workflow documentation • Prepare functional, technical, and design documentation • Develop, execute, and manage application test cases and testing cycles • Create user manuals, training guides, and related documentation • Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions • Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Research and document system requirements and operational processes • Ensure full compliance with data security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements • Maintain accurate project records and reporting documentation Required QualificationsProfessional Experience • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst on software development projects • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application and system testing • Minimum of five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Office and Visio • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and stakeholder workshops • Proven expertise in process mapping and business documentation • Experience developing user guides and training materials • Experience working with healthcare information systems Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Additional Requirements • Ability to successfully complete fingerprinting and background screening • Ability to work on-site in Tallahassee, Florida • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Children’s Medical Services systems, including CMS 3.0 • Experience supporting government or public-sector clients • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory compliance standards • Experience in highly regulated IT environments Contract Details • Contract Duration: Twelve (12) months, with potential for extension • Work Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours • Work Location: On-site in Tallahassee, Florida • Travel Reimbursement: Not provided • Background Screening: Required Application Process Qualified candidates may apply through LinkedIn or submit their resume and cover letter by email to: procurement@futuresoft-it.com
