Advanced Excel Specialist Location: Naples, FLDuration: 6 months Position Overview: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Excel Specialist who thrives in data-driven environments and works extensively in Microsoft Excel throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros (VBA), dashboards, charts, and data modeling. This role will play a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights, streamlining workflows, and supporting cross-functional teams with accurate, well-structured reporting. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain complex Excel-based models, reports, and templates. Develop and automate PivotTables, charts, and dashboards to support business reporting needs. Create and manage macros/VBA scripts to improve efficiency in recurring tasks. Clean, validate, and manipulate large data sets using advanced Excel formulas. Analyze trends and summarize key insights in a clear, visual format for stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to define reporting requirements and deliver custom solutions. Troubleshoot Excel-related issues and provide training/support to team members as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven hands-on experience using Excel in a professional setting (minimum 3+ years preferred). Mastery of advanced Excel functions including: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF/IFS, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, TEXT/DATE functions Chart creation (bar, line, waterfall, combo, etc.) and data visualization Macros and VBA scripting Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field (preferred). Nice to Have: Experience with Power Query or Power Pivot. Familiarity with integrating Excel with tools like Outlook, Access, or SharePoint. Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
