Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a hybrid Advanced ML Engineer to join their team. Summary: You will play a key role in designing and implementing AI algorithms, models, and systems that power next-generation solutions across diverse business units. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable AI/ML solutions, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration into operational platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects and contribute to innovation in AI technology. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to develop and deploy AI/ML models for real-world applications
β’ Build scalable machine learning pipelines for training and deployment in IT/OT product environments
β’ Optimize distributed training execution, including hyperparameter tuning and performance improvements
β’ Ensure model reliability, scalability, and uptime, maintaining high standards of code quality and monitoring
β’ Integrate ML libraries with cloud-based frameworks to streamline deployment and operationalization
Requirements
β’ MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field (Ph.D. preferred but not required)
β’ 3+ years of experience in Python programming and AI/ML development
β’ Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (classification, clustering, optimization, deep learning)
β’ Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Kubernetes)
β’ Proficiency in ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, HuggingFace Transformers
β’ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
β’ Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
