Agentic AI Developer (Contract Remote Eligible) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Agentic AI Developer to join a growing technology consulting team focused on building next-generation AI-driven solutions. This role is ideal for experienced engineers who excel at turning innovative ideas into production-grade, autonomous AI systems. Youll work on advanced projects that leverage large language models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks like LangChain, and data platforms such as Databricks to design and deploy intelligent agents for real-world business use cases. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of executing complex, multi-step workflows using frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph. • Build LLM-powered applications that demonstrate reasoning, tool usage, and decision support across various industries including healthcare, finance, and technology. • Integrate AI systems with enterprise data environments using modern APIs, cloud-based tools, and data engineering best practices. • Develop secure and scalable connections between AI models and live data sources using current integration frameworks and protocols. • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that each implementation delivers measurable impact. • Continuously evaluate, test, and refine AI agent performance to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and stability. • Stay current with emerging developments in AI, LLMs, and agent frameworks, contributing new ideas and techniques to the teams evolving best practices. Required Skills • Proven experience building AI agents or LLM-based applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration tools. • Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write clean, modular, and production-ready code. • Hands-on experience developing AI systems that leverage data platforms such as Databricks or comparable environments. • Deep understanding of multi-step reasoning, state management, and AI tool usage patterns. • Experience integrating AI applications with APIs, databases, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with advanced AI techniques such as knowledge graph integration or memory architectures. • Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Elasticsearch) and semantic search. • Cloud and DevOps exposure, including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, or serverless deployment. • Prior experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment. • Active participation in open-source AI or ML communities is a plus.
