AI Agent Developer (Contract) Location: Hybrid – Preferred: North Chicago suburbs Duration: 6+ monthsAbout the Role We are seeking an AI Agent Developer to design and deploy intelligent, scalable, and secure AI agents across the enterprise. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of enterprise AI, Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, and applied innovation. You’ll work hands-on with Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, and LLM integrations—building AI-driven solutions that directly transform enterprise workflows.Key Responsibilities • Develop enterprise-grade AI agents using Microsoft AI tools. • Integrate LLMs (text, vision, audio) into business workflows. • Implement RAG pipelines and vector databases to boost accuracy. • Translate business needs into secure, production-ready AI solutions. • Monitor, optimize, and ensure compliance with Responsible AI standards. • Collaborate in agile sprints and mentor internal teams. Required Skills • Strong experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform. • Proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI integrations. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot, and extensibility features. • Background in enterprise AI, IT ops, or digital transformation. • Familiarity with Microsoft AI scenario libraries & Responsible AI principles. • Integration experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Teams, Outlook. 💡 This is a hybrid role (preferred: North Chicago suburbs). 🕒 Initial contract: 6+ months with potential extension.
