Role description
Our client, a leader in the consumer goods and retail sector that is leveraging advanced AI to transform everything from store operations to digital commerce is hiring an AI Architect – Agentic Platforms to join their innovative team. As an AI Architect – Agentic Platforms, you will be part of the AI Enablement department supporting cross-functional teams including engineering, product, data science, security, and cloud operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Define and govern the architectural foundations that support the organization's enterprise agent ecosystem.
Design and oversee agent-based integrations, registries, scoring/evaluation infrastructure, grounding patterns, and multi-agent orchestration platforms.
Provide technical leadership across engineering, product, data science, security, and cloud teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance AI systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly build AI-driven prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready solutions.
Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures for scalable AI platforms.
What's Needed?
10+ years of experience in cloud and distributed systems architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, observability, and performance.
7+ years designing enterprise AI/ML systems with at least 1 year hands-on experience with GenAI, agentic workflows, RAG, LLM-based integrations, or multi-agent systems.
Strong expertise with agentic frameworks and tooling such as MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, autogen, crewai, Agent SDK, OpenAI SDK, etc.
Hands-on experience with modern software development practices, API integrations, and enterprise system workflows.
Proficiency with cloud platforms like Azure and GCP, including Kubernetes, containerization, identity management, networking, CI/CD, and API platforms.
