We handle commercial contracting, on-demand plumbing and heating service, and retail sales. We’re committed to becoming the most AI-driven contractor in the country — and we’re looking for the right expert to help lead that charge. About the Role: We’re looking for a hands-on AI automation consultant to build real, working systems — not just make slide decks. You’ll start by helping us automate our AP invoicing system and then help design a mobile field app that streamlines job site operations across three locations. What You’ll Build (Phase 1): Azure Form Recognizer pipeline to extract PDF invoice data Logic App or Power Automate to process and store data in SharePoint Human approval workflow, with output to Sage 100 Prototype a mobile employee app: GPS-tagged timecards Digital safety forms and policy access Jobsite notes + photo uploads You Should Know: Azure AI Services (Form Recognizer, Logic Apps) Power Automate + SharePoint Field app tools (Power Apps, React Native, or equivalent) Integration experience with accounting software (Sage 100 = bonus) Construction or service-industry experience is a big plus Screening Question (required): “Briefly describe an automation project you’ve built using Azure Form Recognizer or similar tools. What were the key services used, and what did you learn from it?” Compensation: Flexible — open to hourly, fixed-fee, or milestone-based proposals. This starts as a contract but could grow into an ongoing advisory role.
