Role description
Job Title: AI Core Services Developer
Work Location: Cambridge, UK ( 2 to 3 Days Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
Build scalable, fault-tolerant services on Microsoft Azure.
Develop secure, well-documented public APIs and SDKs.
Collaborate on data pipelines, orchestration, and service APIs.
Embed robust security controls and ensure compliance.
Contribute to design/code reviews and architectural discussions.
Mentor junior developers and foster innovation.
Support AI solutions including model deployment, training, and tooling.
AI & Cloud Expertise:
Hands-on with LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, prompt engineering.
Familiar with MCP, A2A, and AI orchestration tools (e.g., Semantic Kernel).
Strong Python and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Knowledge of ML algorithms, AI ethics, and regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF).
Experience with AI tooling (GitHub Copilot, automated AI testing).
Core Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years in software engineering, with cloud-native/.NET focus.
Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Functions, AKS, API Management).
Strong RESTful API design and security practices.
Proven Agile experience across global R&D teams.
Strong problem-solving and mentoring capabilities.
