Contract - Inside IR35 - | London | Full-Time
The Firm
A leading UK-based private markets investment platform with a strong international presence is seeking to build out its applied AI capabilities. The firm manages significant institutional capital and is investing in technology to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of AI, automation, and business processes. You will work closely with non-technical teams to identify high-impact use cases and implement practical AI-driven solutions using existing enterprise tools and platforms.
The focus is on taking early-stage ideas and prototypes and turning them into scalable, production-ready workflows that deliver measurable efficiency gains.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Partner with business teams to identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities
β’ Translate business requirements into practical solutions using LLMs and workflow tools
β’ Design and implement AI-enabled workflows, automations, and internal tools
β’ Support the rollout and adoption of AI tools across the organisation
β’ Build lightweight integrations and solutions using scripting where required
β’ Contribute to the development of best practices around AI usage and governance
Technology Environment
β’ Enterprise LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude or similar)
β’ Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform)
β’ Data platforms such as Snowflake
β’ API integrations and lightweight scripting (e.g. Python)
Candidate Profile
β’ 1β4 yearsβ experience in a hands-on, implementation-focused role (e.g. consulting, technology, or transformation)
β’ Demonstrated experience delivering AI, automation, or workflow solutions in a business environment
β’ Strong ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
β’ Familiarity with LLMs, prompting, and practical AI use cases
β’ Experience with Microsoft tools (Copilot, Power Platform) and/or modern data platforms preferred
β’ Background in financial services or similarly complex environments is beneficial but not essential
