AI Data Engineer Visualization Engineer

Description On-site Every Other Week in Westlake, TX Our client seeks an AI Data Engineer Visualization Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines and deliver effective analytics. The role will develop ETL processes, design scalable data models, and create Power BI dashboards that enable actionable insights. The engineer will partner with stakeholders to automate reporting and apply AI and GenAI techniques where appropriate. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $50.00 to $65.00/hr. w2 JN -072026-108111 Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for analytics and reporting. • Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI with performant data models. • Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring across ingestion and transformation layers. • Automate recurring reporting and analytics workflows. • Collaborate with product owners and analysts to translate requirements into data solutions. • Apply AI and GenAI techniques to enhance data preparation and insight generation where appropriate. • Optimize SQL queries and data structures for scalability and reliability. Experience Requirements • Proven experience in data engineering and ETL development. • Expertise with Power BI and dashboard development. • Strong SQL skills for data transformation and optimization. • Background in data visualization best practices. • Experience building analytics or reporting automation solutions. • Hands-on exposure to AI/GenAI in data and analytics contexts.
