Role description
AI Data Scientist - Onsite in Cupertino, CA from Day 1 - W2 Only
• Lead the design and execution of AI/ML tool development programs for legal workflows.
• Bridge engineering, legal, and business functions by collaborating with attorneys, legal operations, and engineering teams.
• Develop and deploy generative AI solutions such as contract review, document classification, knowledge management, and workflow automation.
• Serve as a product owner: define requirements, build proofs of concept, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI technologies with existing legal systems (e.g., document management, eDiscovery, CLM).
• Evaluate and integrate third-party AI legal tech tools, ensuring system compatibility and compliance.
• Stay updated on trends in AI, machine learning, and legal technology to inform departmental AI strategies.
• Apply strong software engineering and AI expertise, particularly in Python and modern AI architectures.
• Utilize product management sensibility and strong communication to drive AI solution adoption.
• Prefer candidates with experience in legal tech platforms (e.g., CLM, iManage, NetDocuments) and building internal AI assistants or chatbots for enterprise use.
