Responsibilities: • Gather business needs and translate them into actionable analytics and ML models. • Develop well-documented, maintainable, and version-controlled code. • Build, train, and optimize machine learning models to solve real-world business problems. • Communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytic requirements and data strategies. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years leading data science or AI/ML projects or teams. • Proven experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering. • Strong background in Big Data tools such as Spark or Azure Databricks. • Deep knowledge of Python and/or R (minimum 10 years). • Expertise in working with SQL databases and managing large-scale datasets. • Experience training LLMs (Large Language Models) with structured and unstructured data. • Experience using version control tools such as Git. • Strong ability to translate regulatory, business, or research objectives into scalable ML/AI pipelines. • Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Nice To Have: • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a STEM-related field. • Experience with GIS spatial data. • Peer-reviewed publication record in ML, statistics, or computational science.
