Job Description: MUST be eligible to work in the USA - we CANNOT sponsor VISA Some travel to Atlanta GA required Pinnacle is seeking a highly experienced AI Engineer / Lead with deep expertise in Amazon Bedrock to spearhead the development of scalable, production-grade AI/ML applications leveraging foundation models and generative AI. This role requires strong hands-on experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and deploying solutions using AWS-native services. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML applications using Amazon Bedrock and foundation models such as Claude, Titan, Jurassic, and Mistral • Develop optimized prompts and fine-tune foundation models to support targeted business use cases • Integrate Bedrock models with applications, APIs, and analytics pipelines for both real-time and batch environments • Provide post-deployment support, including issue resolution, bug fixes, and continuous application layer improvements • Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI strategies and deliver impactful, production-ready solutions • Build or support analytics dashboards and reporting pipelines as needed • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions regarding GenAI implementation on AWS Core Skills & Experience: • Expertise in Amazon Bedrock and working with multiple foundation models (Claude, Titan, Llama2, etc.) • Strong Python programming experience for AI/ML development • Demonstrated skills in prompt engineering, model configuration, and fine-tuning for Bedrock-supported models • Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SageMaker, and IAM • Strong capabilities in debugging, performance tuning, and post-production support • Proficiency in data analysis; experience with tools such as Tableau is a plus • (Optional) Experience with API integration and orchestration in serverless or containerized environments Leadership Competencies: • Proven track record leading AI/ML or Generative AI projects • Strong technical judgment and experience in AI solution architecture • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional) • Familiarity with MLOps practices in AWS or hybrid environments • Experience deploying GenAI use cases in industries such as healthcare, finance, or retail
