AI Engineer /w GCP

EPITEC is seeking an AI Engineer with GCP experience to join our client's Analytics team and help build cutting-edge Generative AI applications that transform the future of mobility. This role blends AI development, cloud engineering, and full-stack architecture to deliver intelligent, scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • • • Its a w2 role , no c2c/1099 Accepted • • • • • • Candidates must have hands -on GCP Experience • • • • • • Candidates outside MI must relocate • • • • Type : Long term Contract Location : Dearborn , MI ( 4 days onsite/ 1 day Remote) 📌 Responsibilities • Develop and deploy generative AI solutions using Python and GCP services (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and ML engineers. • Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Tekton, GitHub Actions, and Cloud Build. • Implement agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, etc. • Apply software craftsmanship practices like Paired Programming and Test-Driven Development. 🛠️ Skills Required • Strong Python programming and backend development experience. • Hands-on experience with GCP services (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery). • Proficiency in REST APIs and web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django). • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledge of MLOps and generative AI frameworks. 🎓 Experience & Education • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 6+ years in IT, 4+ years in development. • Preferred: Master’s degree in AI/ML or related field; experience with agentic AI frameworks and serverless architecture.
