Role description
Job Title: AI Engineering Specialist Location: Lynchburg, Virginia Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities: • Design and implement a wide array of technical solutions to support business requirements and increase efficiency under broad supervision. • Work with end-users and other technical personnel to fully define, implement, and maintain systems, providing testing, training, and technical support as needed. • Provide leadership on large-scale projects and supervise other Technical Architects. • Collaborate with technical leads to automate and enhance programming practices. • Design and lead implementation of technical solutions in line with company Roadmaps. • Engage with stakeholders to understand and validate customer needs. • Create specifications, prototypes, and technical documentation. • Define technical standards and functionality tests. Requirements: • Strong programming background in languages such as .NET, Python, C#, Java. • Experience with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools. • Understanding of machine learning concepts. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern development workflows. • Ability to evaluate AI-generated output for correctness, security, and performance. • Strong communication skills to translate AI capabilities into team benefits.
