Role description
Strategic Staffing Solutions International client delivers innovative software solutions for capital markets and financial services. The company offers a wide range of services, from β€œtip-of-the-spear” advisory and application design to system architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain data transformations, reports, and integrations using Excel, XML, XSLT, and XPath. β€’ Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve trade data issues independently, including exceptions and breaks. β€’ Perform complex data manipulation, extraction, and reconciliation tasks using Excel and basic SQL queries (joins, group by, functions, procedures, constraints). β€’ Configure and maintain system data views, user setups, and related technical settings in Everest WinForms. β€’ Collaborate with trading, operations, and IT teams to support data pipelines and ensure data integrity. β€’ Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and maintain operational runbooks for repeatable processes. Requirements: β€’ Strong SQL proficiency for querying, analysis, and troubleshooting. β€’ Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and data analysis. β€’ Trading and investment experience. β€’ Hands-on experience with at least one industry-standard OMS (Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, Eze, SimCorp, Everest) is a plus. Additional skills (nice to have): β€’ Knowledge of XML/XSLT/XPath. β€’ Comfortable with Windows-based trading applications. β€’ Experience supporting traders, portfolio managers, compliance, and operations β€’ Familiarity with development languages or prior software development experience Additional details: β€’ This is a contractor position only (C2C). β€’ Minimum 3 days per week in-office presence required (NY office).
