β’ Level/Experience: Senior/Lead; 10+ years in AI/ML engineering, with healthcare/pharma domain expertise.
β’ Key Responsibilities: Build AI-native systems for clinical trials, data unification (e.g., using Orchestrated Analytics), develop ML models (classification, predictive analytics), integrate agentic AI agents, ensure HIPAA/FDA compliance.
β’ Technical Skills: Python/PySpark, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud (AWS preferred), big data tools (Spark).
β’ Soft Skills: Leadership in cross-functional teams, problem-solving for high-stakes projects.
Role Summary
The AI First Engineer will design, build, and deploy scalable AI driven solutions to solve complex healthcare and life sciences problems. This role emphasizes a βAI firstβ mindset, where machine learning, generative AI, and data driven approaches are core to product and platform design. The engineer will collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, clinicians, and software teams to deliver production grade AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for healthcare and life sciences use cases
β’ Build end to end AI pipelines including data ingestion, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
β’ Work with large scale structured and unstructured healthcare data (clinical, real world data, claims, EHR, text)
β’ Develop and integrate LLM based solutions (prompt engineering, RAG, agents, fine tuning where applicable)
β’ Productionize models using cloud native architectures and MLOps best practices
β’ Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to translate business problems into AI solutions
β’ Ensure AI solutions meet data privacy, security, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, GxP where applicable)
β’ Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements
Education
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
