Job Summary - Senior AI Solution Architect (Microsoft + Multivendor)
Why this role: Help clients move from AI pilots to scalable impact—defining strategy, architecture, and delivery across Microsoft (Azure OpenAI, M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio) and complementary vendors. You’ll translate outcomes into secure, responsible, production‑grade solutions.What you’ll do
Lead AI strategy & roadmaps tied to measurable business outcomes; define reference architectures spanning Azure AI, M365 Copilot extensibility, Copilot Studio, and RAG patterns with enterprise data.
Own solution design: security, governance, MLOps/LMMOps, prompt orchestration, telemetry, cost/perf controls, and change management.
Guide multi‑vendor integrations (e.g., data/ETL, vector stores, workflow, observability) and patterns for agentic automation.
Run envisioning, assessments, and executive briefings; steer delivery teams through PoC → pilot → scale.
Coach client architects and engineers; codify best practices, patterns, and templates for reuse.
What you’ll bring
8+ years in solution architecture with enterprise AI delivery; 2+ years hands‑on with M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio (required).
Deep Azure AI/Azure OpenAI, Graph, Identity/Entra, Data (Fabric/Synapse), API integration; familiarity with leading non‑Microsoft AI components (e.g., vector DBs, guardrails, observability).
Proven track record landing AI responsibly (privacy, security, risk, governance) and at scale in complex orgs.
Executive presence; crisp storytelling; strong estimation and SOW input.
Nice to have
Power Platform AI, Teams extensibility, Viva/SharePoint knowledge for adoption; industry/regulatory experience.
Location & travel
Remote US/Canada; up to 50% North America travel (client‑approved). Contract role.
