Role description
Remote Our client is a leading and successful off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions, operating multiple divisions across the United States, Canada, and Europe. It focuses on large-format, value-oriented retailing concepts that deliver merchandise at significant discounts compared to regular department and specialty store prices. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities β€’ Process AI use cases through intake, review, assessment, socialization, and closure. β€’ Maintain inventories of AI systems, models, datasets, and third-party AI tools with risk tiers and approval statuses. β€’ Highlight risks associated with use cases, inform business owners, and support risk mitigation. β€’ Lead AI risk assessments covering purpose, model risk, bias, transparency, accuracy, and human oversight. β€’ Run the AI intake process including triage, scoping, and routing with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, IT, and Business stakeholders. β€’ Develop governance templates and artifacts such as risk profiles, decision logs, RACI, playbooks, and assessment checklists. β€’ Produce dashboards and executive reports for leadership, audit, and regulatory inquiries. β€’ Facilitate periodic reviews and recertification of AI systems and coordinate post-deployment monitoring and incident response workflows. β€’ Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align governance requirements with delivery milestones. β€’ Provide training and guidance on responsible AI practices, policy updates, and process changes. Experience Requirements β€’ Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time hours. β€’ Working knowledge of AI and ML concepts including data pipelines, model lifecycle, performance monitoring, bias, and explainability. β€’ Experience operationalizing governance processes such as intake, control testing, evidence collection, and reporting. β€’ Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. β€’ Familiarity with AI model governance artifacts including model cards, datasheets, and risk registers (preferred). β€’ Knowledge of responsible AI practices such as human oversight, safety, and transparency, and exposure to MLOps (preferred). β€’ Exposure to enterprise platforms that support governance workflows such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Automate/Power Apps, and Confluence/Jira, and to data catalog/lineage and assessment tools (preferred). Education Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Data/Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk/Compliance, or related field, or equivalent experience. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
