Role description
The AI Integrator will lead the firmβs efforts in adopting and implementing AI solutions across various practice areas. This role focuses on translating attorney needs into practical, AI-driven workflows (e.g., automated document review, legal research, due diligence) while ensuring compliance with data privacy and ethical standards. This is a "doer" role requiring hands-on experience in configuring AI tools rather than just evaluating them. Key Responsibilities
AI Tool Evaluation & Implementation: Research, test, and implement AI tools (e.g., Harvey, CoCounsel, Spellbook, Kira) suitable for legal work, specifically focusing on workflow automation, document review, and legal research.
Workflow Optimization: Partner with attorneys and practice groups to analyze, map, and streamline legal tasks, identifying opportunities to replace manual processes with AI.
Prompt Engineering & Development: Build and optimize prompt libraries and templates for LLMs to enhance legal drafting, client intake, and data extraction.
Integration & Technical Support: Ensure AI tools integrate seamlessly with existing firm systems (Document Management Systems, CRM, Microsoft 365) using APIs and low-code/no-code platforms like Zapier or Power Automate.
Training & Adoption: Create training materials, conduct workshops, and provide hands-on coaching to attorneys and staff to drive AI literacy and adoption.
Governance & Compliance: Collaborate with IT and General Counsel to ensure all AI tools meet security, data privacy, and ethical standards, particularly regarding client confidentiality.
Performance Monitoring: Track ROI metrics (e.g., time savings, billable hours impact) and refine AI systems to improve accuracy and performance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2β5+ years in legal technology, legal practice, or AI workflow design (law firm experience is highly desirable).
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with Generative AI platforms (LLMs, ChatGPT, Claude) and, preferably, experience with legal-specific AI tools (e.g., CoCounsel).
Automation Knowledge: Experience with low/no-code automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier) and API familiarity is a plus.
Education: Bachelorβs degree in IT, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; a J.D. or legal background is a strong advantage.
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical legal professionals.
Mindset: A proactive "doer" who thrives on building and implementing new, untested technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, AI Builder, or similar.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.22 - $41.23 per hour
Expected hours: 10 β 25 per week
Work Location: In person
