Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/Machine Learning Engineer II to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This onsite role in Austin, TX, is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and AI algorithms.
β’ Work closely with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to integrate ML solutions into production systems.
β’ Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
β’ Evaluate model performance, optimize algorithms, and implement improvements.
β’ Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML technologies and best practices, applying them to real-world applications.
β’ Document processes, code, and models to ensure reproducibility and maintainability.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
β’ Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
β’ 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including model development, training, and deployment.
β’ Proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar.
β’ Strong experience with data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying ML models in production environments.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
β’ Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML models.
β’ Experience with database technologies, SQL/NoSQL, and big data frameworks.
