Role description
Role Summary
The AI/ML Engineer will support the implementation of agentic AI components across the engagement, including MCP server integrations, data source connectors, orchestration logic, and evaluation frameworks. The role will focus on building and testing reusable agent templates and ensuring integration readiness with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime and Gateway.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement MCP server integrations and data source connectors to enable secure, scalable agent workflows.
• Develop orchestration logic to support multi-step agent execution across enterprise use cases.
• Build and test the Jira Triage Agent Template, including classification, routing, human-in-the-loop gates, and evaluation flows.
• Support integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway.
• Develop test cases, validation scripts, and evaluation frameworks to measure agent accuracy, reliability, and routing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to industrialise reusable agent patterns for future customer use cases.
Required Skills
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, Python, APIs, and cloud-native development.
• Exposure to LLM-based application development, agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of AWS AI/ML services, preferably Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience with Jira or enterprise workflow systems is preferred.
• Good understanding of integration patterns, REST APIs, event-driven workflows, and secure data access.
