AI Enablement & Data Governance Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH
Overview:
Our client is preparing to roll out enterprise-wide AI tools, including individual ChatGPT-style instances, to help teams drive efficiency and innovation. To ensure a secure and effective implementation, they're seeking an AI Enablement & Data Governance Specialist to lead data readiness efforts, enforce governance standards, and coordinate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Define and enforce data governance policies related to AI/LLM usage
β’ Identify and restrict sensitive data types from being used in AI instances
β’ Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Compliance to implement controls and risk mitigation
β’ Evaluate and implement software overlays or tools to monitor and restrict data uploads
β’ Support build-out and optimization of data pipelines feeding into AI systems
β’ Work with infrastructure teams to upgrade servers and ensure performance readiness
β’ Conduct testing and validation of AI tools to ensure use cases are functioning as expected
β’ Partner with business units to gather use cases and drive AI adoption
β’ Document processes, risks, and best practices for long-term scalability
Ideal Background:
β’ Strong experience in data governance, security, or compliance
β’ Familiarity with data pipelines, system architecture, and server upgrades
β’ Understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools
β’ Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT or other LLMs in an enterprise setting
β’ Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
β’ Experience supporting digital transformation or technology adoption initiatives
