JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2+ years of working experience in AI/ML, AIOps and DataOps concepts.
• 2+ years of working Development experience using languages like Python, Java, C++, JSON, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, and relevant scripting languages (plus for development experience).
• Certifications in AI/ML technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Service Now, WIZ, Prometheus or Splunk (for AIOps) and data governance frameworks (for DataOps).
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, or experience in a real-time operational role.
• Experience with software development principles and GitHub or other SDLC/Version Control System, Pull Requests, Issues, etc.
• Proven ability to automate processes using tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of high-performance computing environments is a plus
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
• Client is looking for an exceptional, driven AIOps and DataOps to join the Solutions Architecture and Engineering’s Team. The SAE team’s mission is to ensure that our On-premises and Cloud infrastructure stays ahead of rapid customer growth by maintaining service reliability, performance, efficiency, and security. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and advancing the organization’s Data and AI platforms, ensuring their reliability, performance, and security.
• The AIOps and DataOps Engineer will play a dual role in optimizing IT operations and data workflows by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and DataOps methodologies. This position focuses on automating IT operations, enhancing data pipeline efficiency, ensuring data quality, and fostering collaboration between IT, data science, and business teams to drive operational excellence.
• This hybrid role demands expertise in both IT operations automation (AIOps) and agile data management practices (DataOps). The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking professional who can integrate cutting-edge technologies into operational workflows while ensuring robust collaboration across organizational teams.
• Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to gather stakeholder requirements and design technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
• You will independently and collaboratively work with SAE and other OHIA groups to design, implement, maintain and optimize the AIOps for operations and through observability practices.
• By designing and implementing effective solutions, you will enable proactive identification and resolution of issues while providing actionable insights to improve system performance and scalability.
