Role description
Software Development Senior Specialist Charlotte, NC. (Day 1 Onsite) | Local candidates preferred. Required Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying Al/ML or Generative Al solutions. 5+ years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative Al frameworks. 5+ years of strong Python development skills and experience building production-quality applications. Experience consuming APs and integrating applications with enterprise systems. Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and modern software engineering methodologies. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns. Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration frameworks. Experience building Al agents, copilots, or workflow automation solutions. Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and enterprise search capabilities. Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, data platforms, or similar systems. Understanding of responsible Al, security, privacy, and compliance considerations. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain Al-enabled applications, workflows, and services. Build and enhance Al agents, copilots, and automation solutions using approved enterprise Al platforms and fran Integrate Al capabilities with enterprise applications and data sources through APls and service integrations. Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to implement business requirements. Support proof-of-concept, pilot, and production Al initiatives. Participate in model evaluation, prompt optimization, and solution testing activities, Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Al applications and integrations. Contribute to reusable components, templates, and engineering best practices. Support production deployments and ongoing operational activities. Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
