Role description
Job title: AWS AI/ML Engineer Job Location: Charlotte, NC (Only Locals) (100% onsite) Job description: β€’ Partner with Legal, IT, and business teams to ensure smooth implementation. β€’ Conduct vendor evaluation, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management. β€’ Build and deploy custom AI-driven solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent agents. β€’ Integrate AI capabilities into existing and new legal tech tools. β€’ Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for enhanced legal data insights. β€’ Develop and maintain serverless, cloud-native applications leveraging AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and Step Functions. β€’ Build backend services in Python or Java; implement responsive UI using modern frameworks. β€’ Connect Streamlit apps to Bedrock and SageMaker for AI model interaction. β€’ Configure SSO/MFA for secure application access. β€’ Work with SailPoint to set up IAM roles and access profiles. β€’ Integrate with Workday and Active Directory for user provisioning and authentication. β€’ Manage secure SFTP connections for data exchange. β€’ Act as technical lead for legal technology initiatives. β€’ Coordinate with geographically distributed consultants and internal teams. β€’ Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implementation and production. Required Skills & Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years experience in Full Stack Development. β€’ Strong AI/ML background, with hands-on experience in LLMs, intelligent agents, and RAG-based solutions. β€’ Proven track record in product onboarding and vendor management in legal tech or AI domains. β€’ Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, API Gateway). β€’ Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java. β€’ Experience with serverless architecture and secure application deployment. β€’ Familiarity with SailPoint IAM, SSO/MFA, Workday, and Active Directory integrations. β€’ Experience with secure SFTP setup and data feeds. β€’ Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Skills: β€’ Prior experience with Mitratech TeamConnect or other legal tech products. β€’ Background in enterprise AI governance and compliance. β€’ Familiarity with Streamlit application hosting.
