Title: AI / ML Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid Preferred)
POSITION OVERVIEW
• The AI / ML Engineer will drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to support core business initiatives. Sitting within the AI & Data group, this role focuses on building production-ready generative AI tools, cloud AI pipelines, and multi-agent systems tailored for high-impact applications. The engineer will collaborate across cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into existing systems while establishing robust data and platform engineering standards.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement production-ready application pipelines for cloud and on-premises AI solutions.
• Develop generative AI applications incorporating deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing.
• Build, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs), Foundation Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
• Design and deploy Agentic AI and multi-agent systems to streamline complex operational workflows.
• Establish Database Architecture standards and oversee MLOps and AI platform engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve system performance bottlenecks and optimize data set processing.
