AI/Prompt Engineer – Alternative Investments

• Title: Prompt Engineer – Alternative Investments • Location: NYC (Onsite, 5 days/week) • Client: Confidential – Leading Alt Investment Firm Required Experience & Skills: • 7+ years in Business Operations (Private Equity or Alternative Investments strongly preferred) • Proven experience with Prompt Engineering and Generative AI / LLMs in financial services • Deep domain knowledge in PE/AIM, including LP relations, fundraising, and co-investments • Technical skills: • • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, Agentic workflows • • Experience with Python, R, SQL, and ideally Azure Key Responsibilities: Strategic Operations Optimization & Workflow Automation • Identify bottlenecks across investment lifecycle • Build automated workflows using Generative LLMs and Agentic techniques • Develop advanced prompts to enhance decision-making AI-Powered Product Innovation • Partner with product teams to embed LLM features in deal origination, research, and execution • Lead AI strategy across investment operations Data Analytics for Strategic Advantage • Analyze large datasets to extract insights on risks, trends, and growth • Present findings to senior leadership to support evidence-based decisions Domain-Driven Collaboration & Thought Leadership • Act as a bridge between business and tech innovation • Mentor junior staff in both AI and alternative investments If you’re open to exploring this opportunity, I’d love to connect and share more details.
