Algorithm Developer - Autonomous Mobile Robots

Akkodis is recruiting for a Algorithm Developer - Autonomous Moble Robots for a manufactruer in the Warren, MI area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $45 an hour to $48 an hour depending on education, experience and location. No C2C candidates. • Responsible for designing and building computer vision AMR algorithms/systems • Build maps and advanced algorithms from robot data. • Data processing and data curation methods to filter out bad data and improve algorithm accuracy. • Working with Python for prototyping, map libraries. • Data compression tasks to reduce size and improve performance of algorithms. • Supports Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities and maintains a file of schematics, source code, algorithms, and specifications for troubleshooting. • Masters or PhD in Analytics, ML/AI, Robotics, or other similar field. • Advanced skills in Python • Previous experience with CAN bus, OpenCV, MatLab. • Previous experience with AI/ML, Computer Vision, YOLO. • Previous data projects with vehicle telemetry data, Computer Vision, autonomous driving, or robotics • Experience with an automotive embedded ECU is preferred • Working knowledge of CAN Bus Serial communications is preferred If interested, please forward resume to tina.johnsonkelley@akkodisgroup.com.
