About the Role
We are looking for an Alteryx-focused Data Engineer with strong Knowledge Management (KM) experience to design, optimize, and automate data workflows while building and maintaining our enterprise knowledge assets. You will sit at the intersection of data engineering and KM, making information reliable, searchable, and easy to use across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Alteryx / Data Engineering
• Design, build, and maintain Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic apps.
• Optimize existing workflows for performance, scalability, and automation.
• Integrate Alteryx with databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Apply best practices for version control, documentation, and reusable components.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and support business teams.
Knowledge Management (KM)
• Develop and maintain the KM repository (docs, templates, standards, data dictionaries).
• Ensure information is organized, searchable, and accessible.
• Capture process knowledge and create SOPs, workflow documentation, and user guides.
• Align with data governance and metadata standards.
• Support training and change management related to data processes and KM.
Required Qualifications
• 3–7+ years working with Alteryx Designer (workflows, macros, analytic apps).
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data prep, data cleansing, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with KM tools (Confluence, SharePoint, wikis, KM portals).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience documenting technical processes and building structured KM content.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Alteryx Advanced or Expert certification.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, or Python.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting large enterprise KM programs.
