JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Alteryx Designer
Analyst to join our team and help optimize
and maintain complex Alteryx workflows. The ideal candidate will have a solid
technical
background in Alteryx macros and analytic applications and a
willingness to learn,
collaborate, and contribute to team-wide improvements. While prior
accounting or
finance experience would be nice, an instinct for data manipulation and
workflow
automation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, optimize, and
troubleshoot Alteryx macros (standard, iterative, batch)
and analytic apps
· Navigate and enhance existing interconnected
workflow processes
· Research solutions using Alteryx
Community, vendor websites, and API documentation
· Maintain Jira issues with
timely, detailed updates
· Connect Alteryx Designer to
database tables and ensure efficient data flow
· Adhere to team-wide workflow
documentation and design standards
· Proactively communicate
changes and share knowledge with teammates
Must-Have Qualifications:
· Experience with Alteryx
macros and analytic apps
· Ability to trace data through complex
workflows
· Strong problem-solving
skills and willingness to learn new techniques (e.g., Alteryx Server,
Detour tools, SQL integration)
· Effective communication and
a collaborative mindset
· Discipline in following team
documentation and design best practices
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
· Knowledge of workflow
optimization for efficiency
· Experience with AWS
PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
· Familiarity with GitHub,
Python, and API creation
· Working knowledge of Jira for
Agile work management
· Understanding of Entity
Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and Business Process Management (BPM)
