Job Summary
They are seeking an experienced and meticulous Alteryx Developer to join their data engineering team. This role will be critical in a company-wide initiative to migrate all data processing and ETL workflows from their legacy DataFlux environment to the Alteryx platform. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of both DataFlux and Alteryx, with a proven track record of successfully migrating complex data management processes between platforms. You will analyze existing DataFlux jobs, translate the business logic, and build, test, and deploy robust, high-performance workflows in Alteryx.
Responsibilities
β’ Serve as the subject matter expert for the DataFlux-to-Alteryx migration project.
β’ Analyze and document the business logic, data transformations, and rules within existing DataFlux jobs and processes.
β’ Design, develop, test, and deploy Alteryx workflows and macros to replicate and enhance the functionality of legacy DataFlux code.
β’ Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate the accuracy and functionality of the new Alteryx workflows against the legacy DataFlux outputs.
β’ Perform data cleansing, data blending, data validation, and data transformation using Alteryx Designer.
β’ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, implementation guides, and best practices for the migrated Alteryx workflows.
β’ Participate in testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure data integrity and process accuracy.
β’ Automate workflow execution and manage schedules on Alteryx Server, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies during and after the migration.
β’ Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and other IT teams to support and improve data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
β’ 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ETL Developer, or Data Engineer.
β’ Demonstrable, hands-on experience with both DataFlux/SAS Data Management and Alteryx Designer.
β’ Proven experience in migrating data processes and logic between different platforms.
β’ Advanced proficiency in developing workflows using Alteryx Designer and hands-on experience with Alteryx Server.
β’ Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
β’ Experience with various data sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud-based data stores.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
β’ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Alteryx certifications (e.g., Alteryx Designer Core, Advanced) are a significant plus.

β’ Experience with Mortgage Servicing
β’ Experience with other ETL tools or data management platforms.
β’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team.
