Title: Alteryx Server Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Minneapolis, MN Dallas, TX Des Moines, IA Duration: 12 months Work Engagement: W2 Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Infrastructure Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Infrastructure Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Infrastructure Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Alteryx Server Administration: Install, patch, and monitor multi-node servers; manage workflow performance and uptime. Platform Upgrades & Maintenance: Execute version upgrades, license renewals, SSL certificate management, and MongoDB instance merges. Data Center Migration: Plan and execute server moves from heritage data centers to next-generation facilities. Security & Compliance: Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure authentication credentials. Integration & Automation: Implement password vault integration and automate environment setup where possible. Connector & Driver Management: Install and configure new drivers/connectors following SDLC progression. User Support & Workflow Optimization: Provide Level 2 support, optimize workflows, and enhance monitoring scripts. Governance & Reporting: Deliver licensing reports and maintain documentation of processes. Qualifications: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. 2+ years in software engineering or related technical roles Strong understanding of Windows Server maintenance and patching Proficiency in scripting (Batch, PowerShell) and Alteryx Swagger API Experience with multi-node architecture and load balancer configuration Proven experience managing enterprise-scale platforms (preferably data analytics or workflow automation tools) Understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, and load balancing in multi-node environments Familiarity with vulnerability remediation, patch management, and enterprise security standards Ability to manage and troubleshoot MongoDB and SQL Server environments Experience with ITIL processes or similar frameworks for incident and change management Preferred Skills: Alteryx Core Certification and Alteryx Server Administration Certification Hands-on experience with Alteryx workflow deployment and gallery administration Python development (1+ years) REST API development and integration SQL Server and MongoDB experience CI/CD pipeline setup and GitHub usage GCP fundamentals and server migration experience Driver setup and installation across Windows/Linux environments Ability to analyze and optimize workflows and server configurations for scalability
