Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Integration Cloud Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based integration solutions leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud and related technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, web services, and various cloud platforms to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability across diverse environments. The developer will play a key role in supporting our enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure integrations that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement cloud-based integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other relevant tools.
Develop RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between disparate systems and applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for cloud integrations.
Utilize cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, VMware, OpenStack, Rackspace, Citrix, and others to deploy scalable solutions.
Implement system hardening and security best practices to safeguard data and infrastructure in cloud environments.
Automate deployment processes using DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Shell Scripting.
Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL options like DynamoDB or similar for data storage needs.
Apply virtualization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and OpenStack for efficient resource utilization.
Support microservices architecture development utilizing JavaScript (Node.js), Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, .NET frameworks, and other programming languages.
Ensure adherence to SDLC processes within Agile development methodologies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to optimize performance across cloud infrastructure components.
Maintain documentation of system configurations and integration workflows following best practices.
Skills
Extensive experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar iPaaS platforms.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Serverless, and Microservices models.
Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs, web services, and API management strategies.
Familiarity with multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, as well as virtualization tools like VMware, OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, along with scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, or equivalent NoSQL systems.
Knowledge of network security protocols including VPNs and system hardening techniques.
Experience with software development practices including Agile methodologies (Scrum), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), version control (Git), and SDLC processes.
Programming skills in languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java, Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks.
Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and application deployment strategies.
